The Bosch SmartphoneGrip smartphone holder is the ideal complement to your Smart System e-bike. Charge your smartphone using the wireless charging function while riding, or charge using a cable (available separately) through the 1A charging port.

Your mobile phone is securely and clearly mounted on the handlebar. Also, easily switch between Bosch SmartphoneGrip and Kiox 300, all of which makes the Bosch smartphone mount the ideal addition in city traffic and on e-bike tours.

Charging your smartphone via your e-bike has never been so easy. Simply swap the Kiox 300 display for the SmartphoneGrip and either charge using the wireless charging technology or by using the separate cable.

RETROFIT BOSCH SMARTPHONE GRIP ON YOUR E-BIKE
Your Smart System e-bike does not yet have a Kiox 300 display? Then you can easily retrofit the Bosch SmartphoneGrip mount. All you need is the retrofit kit to go with the grip.

IMPORTANT NOTES ABOUT THE BOSCH SMARTPHONE GRIP
The charging functions of the Smartphone Grip are only compatible with Bosch Smart System e-bikes from 2022. Suitable smartphone sizes: Length: 123 - 175mm; Width: 67 - 88mm; Height: 6.8 - 13mm. Not compatible with flip or case covers. If you have any questions or uncertainties about compatibility, please feel free to contact us or Bosch customer service.

Retrofitting if LED Remote or Purion 200 is on the bike

Is there an LED Remote or Purion 200 installed on your eBike? The retrofit kit contains all that you need. Just select the correct size for your handlebars - check your bikes's specification online for size (31.8mm or 35mm).

What to do:

Select the correct handlebar diameter and order the corresponding Display Mount Kit.
You can find out how to mount the display mount on the handlebar in the operating instructions.
Unplug the existing cable from the LED Remote or your Purion 200. Now plug one end of the new, short display cable into the vacated socket. Insert the other end into the display interface. It doesn't matter which socket you choose.
Now plug the free end of the cable into the second socket of the display interface.

You can now place your Kiox 500, Kiox 300 or SmartphoneGrip onto the display interface.

Note: The retrofit kit is only available with the mount where the cables are plugged into the back of the mount, (towards the rider). If you prefer to have the cables exit from the front you will need to purchase the Front Plug

Retrofitting if only the System Controller and Mini Remote are currently on the bike

Is there a System Controller with Mini Remote installed on your eBike? With the right cables, the right display mount (Display Mount Kit) and a little installation skill, you can use the Kiox 500, Kiox 300 or SmartphoneGrip displays.
Order the retrofit kit for your bar size and then order an additional Display Cable

What to do:

Select the correct handlebar diameter and order the corresponding Display Mount Kit.
Order an additional display cable of the appropriate length. You can easily measure this yourself: from the position of the display mount to the System Controller.
Mount the display mount on the handlebar by referring to the operating instructions.
Loosen the screw of the System Controller and pull it out of the top tube. Unplug the existing cable from the System Controller, feed it through the frame and plug it into one of the two sockets on the display mount.
Plug the additional display cable into the second socket of the display mount and route it to the System Controller.
Secure the System Controller with the screw. You can now place your Kiox 500, Kiox 300, or SmartphoneGrip onto the display interface.

Note 1: To be able to use the functions of the displays, you need a Mini Remote or Mini Remote Dropbar, depending on the handlebar. You can simply connect it via Bluetooth.

Note 2: The default mounting plug has cables exit towards the rider. If you prefer to have the cables exit at the top the purchase the Front facing Plug
