Horizon Micromobility Ltd only supply official UK products that are covered with a manufacturer's warranty. This warranty varies between brands but is typically up to 12 months depending on component.
For scooters the main chassis (frame), foot deck, handle bars, forks and charger are covered by a 12 month warranty.
All parts that are applicable to wear and tear (excluding inner tubes, tyres) are covered by a 6 month warranty for manufacturing defects.
Batteries are covered with a 6 month warranty for manufacturing defects. The batteries deterioration is not covered by the warranty.
Warranties are only offered to the original purchaser of the product and is not transferable to a subsequent purchaser.
What Does This Warranty Not Cover?
This Warranty does NOT apply:
(a) to consumable parts, such as batteries or protective coatings that naturally diminish over time, unless failure has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship. (b) to cosmetic damage, including but not limited to scratches, dents and broken plastic on ports unless failure has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship. (c) to damage caused by use with a third-party component or product that does not meet the manufacturer's product specifications. (d) to damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, fire, liquid contact, or other external cause. (e) to damage caused by operating the product outside manufacturer's published guidelines. (f) to a product that has been modified including non manufacturer's firmware updates. (g) to defects caused by normal wear and tear or otherwise due to the normal ageing of the product. (h) if Horizon Micromobility or the manufacturer receives information from relevant public authorities that the product has been stolen and you cannot prove in any way that you are the authorised user of the product (eg. by presenting proof of purchase). (i) to faults due to water ingress on products not rated waterproof. Please check your manual before using your product in wet conditions.
Processing a warranty claim If you have an issue with your purchase please contact us at: firstname.lastname@example.org We may ask you to send us evidence of the issue with photos and videos. We will then access the claim and decide on next steps. You may be asked to send the part or the scooter back to us at the customer's expense. If sending a scooter or bike back then the original box and packaging must be used. If this is no longer available then boxes can be purchased from sites such as https://www.packingboxes.co.uk/bicycle-bike-boxes/ If using third party boxes then it's up to the customer to also make sure packaging is sufficient. If using a third party box then this will also be used to return the product back to the customer. If a part is assessed and deemed to be damaged without the fault of the user or defective we will dispatch a replacement part as soon as possible. You will receive support in replacing the part. Depending on the issue we may request for the entire product to be returned to us for repair. After the first six months from the original date of purchase, you will need to show the fault was present at the time of purchase. Parts damaged by the user are not covered by this warranty. The customer is responsible for paying for all shipping charges for any damaged or defective product or component. We cannot accept responsibility for any damage caused by improper packaging or during shipping.
