The end of petrol & diesel cars?

The UK government is looking to bring forward the ban on the sale of new petrol and diesel cars to 2030. If this proves to be the case then this will be the second time the date has been changed as the original 2040 date was moved to 2035 in February 2020.

The policy change is likely to be a boost to the electric vehicle industry and a step in the right direction to reducing emissions in order to achieve the UK's climate change environmental targets.
