Bosch e-bike smartphone grip

Please note that there are two versions - horizontal and vertical

The Bosch SmartphoneGrip smartphone holder is the ideal complement to your Smart System e-bike. Charge your smartphone using the wireless charging function while riding, or charge using a cable (available separately) through the 1A charging port.

Installation Guide

Only suitable for Bosch Smart System e-bikes.

If your e-bike currently has the Kiox 300 or Kiox 500 then you only need to purchase the Smartphone grip.

If your e-bike has the LED Remote or Purion 200 then purchase a Kiox retrofit kit, this contains everything you need. You will need to remove the cable to the LED Remote/Purion 200 add this to the new Retrofit kit and add the new cable in the kit between the Retrofit kit and the LED Remote/Purion 200.

If your e-bike has the System Controller then you will need the Kiox retrofit kit if the supplied cables are too short you may also need to purchase new Display Cables. Remove System controller, existing cable to System Controller now needs to do to new Retrofit kit, if too short purchase new cable. Add cable in Retrofit kit between Retrofit kit and System Controller, purchase new cable if cable in kit is too short.

Your mobile phone is securely and clearly mounted on the handlebar. Also, easily switch between Bosch SmartphoneGrip and Kiox 300, all of which makes the Bosch smartphone mount the ideal addition in city traffic and on e-bike tours.

Notes

If not using the Kiox 300 then you will also need the retrofit display arm.

If using the Bosch system controller you'll also need Bosch display cable

If you wish to charge your smartphone by cable you will also need a cable:

Charging your smartphone via your e-bike has never been so easy. Simply swap the Kiox 300 display for the SmartphoneGrip and either charge using the wireless charging technology or by using the separate cable.

RETROFIT BOSCH SMARTPHONE GRIP ON YOUR E-BIKE

Your Smart System e-bike does not yet have a Kiox 300 display? Then you can easily retrofit the Bosch SmartphoneGrip mount. All you need is the retrofit kit to go with the grip.

IMPORTANT NOTES ABOUT THE BOSCH SMARTPHONE GRIP

The charging functions of the Smartphone Grip are only compatible with Bosch Smart System e-bikes from 2022. Suitable smartphone sizes: Length: 123 - 175mm; Width: 67 - 88mm; Height: 6.8 - 13mm. Now hold your phone vertically - at last

So Bosch finally have a vertical phone holder that compliments its horizontal version. The vertical position works much better for Komoot as it allows more information and a reasonable sized map on the screen at the same time.

Very easy to fit on the existing Kiox head after you remove the display so you get the advantage of wireless charging that works well and keeps my phone well charged for a 3 hr ride.
