We believe in making quality products which are designed to last. That's why all of our E Bikes are offered with a 5 year warranty against defects in workmanship and materials on the bicycle frame and 2 years on all electrical components. The warranty starts from the date of delivery and is only valid for the original owner.
The heart and soul of the bike: The frameset (frame and forks), is covered under our 5 year warranty.
The frameset is warrantied against any defects in material or workmanship which result in the bike not being able to function as intended for the duration of the original owners lifetime. We will either repair any defective frameset, or replace any defective frameset with the same or most comparable model available.
All electrical components (this includes motor, battery, display, controller, sensors and wiring) are covered under an industry standard 2 year warranty.
Temple components come with a 3 year warranty. Shimano drivetrain components come with a 1 year warranty as do all accessories and paint finishes. We will either repair or replace any defective component with the same or most comparable component available.
It's important to note what will void the warranty as there are many things which will affect the performance of our products which are out of the control of Temple Cycles. All warranties will be void if the bike is subjected to neglect, improper assembly, improper repair or maintenance, alteration, modification and improper use. The warranty does not cover damage caused by a crash, excessive use, or an accident such as the bike falling over. When any of our products are used for competition or commercial purposes, the warranty is also void.
Bicycles need to be maintained and serviced to make sure they perform correctly. Wheel truing, lubricating, brake adjustment, drivetrain adjustment and other typical maintenance procedures are not covered by the warranty and must be conducted by a professional bicycle workshop at the cost of the customer.
All labour and shipping costs for any warranty service are the responsibility of the customer, while the cost of repair or replacement of a frameset, component or accessory is the responsibility of Temple Cycles.
We hope this leaves you satisfied with the level of support we will provide you here at Temple Cycles.
The next section is a bit wordy, but needed for legal purposes:
Temple Cycles warranties provide the original owner with certain legal rights and recourse and the original owner may possess other rights or recourse, depending on the state, jurisdiction, country, or province. Please be informed that this is a final statement of Temple Cycles and all the remedies available to the original owner are stated herein. Temple Cycles does not allow or authorise any entity to extend any other express or implied warranties on its behalf. An original owner agrees that Temple Cycle's liability under this warranty under no circumstances shall be greater than the original purchase price. In no event shall Temple Cycles be liable for incidental or consequential damages. All other remedies, obligations, liabilities, rights, warranties, express or implied, arising from law or otherwise, including (but not limited to) any claimed implied warranty of merchantability, any claimed implied warranty arising from course of performance, course of dealing or usage of trade, and any claimed implied warranty of fitness, are disclaimed by Temple Cycles and waived by the original owner. Some states, jurisdictions, countries, and provinces do not allow some or all of the limitations set forth herein, or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages. If any provision is found unenforceable, only that provision shall be stricken and all others shall apply.
You can either collect your new bike direct from our showroom where it will be assembled and a pre-collection inspection will be carried out. Alternatively for self assembly customers your new bike arrives in a big box. It’s really simple to carry out the final assembly steps. Simply attach the front wheel, insert the saddle, straighten the handlebars and attach the pedals along with any extra accessories you ordered.
BUILT TO LAST
This rings true with all of the products we make and it forms the core of our sustainable approach. We only design and make products that last. This means using high quality materials and components, combining this with exceptionally high build quality.
UNIVERSALLY SERVICEABLE
Tying in with our ‘Built to Last’ approach, making sure our bikes can be easily serviced is crucial to ensuring they stick around on the roads as long as possible. We’ve designed all of our bikes to be easily serviceable by any bike shop. That means that all spare parts are easily available and easy to fit. As we use our bikes, they do wear out and require servicing. It’s our aim for this to be as simple as possible to manage.
